The camp will teach basic cooking skills, including safety, sanitation, and basic knife skills, as well as the fundamentals of baking, sautéing, and recipe and menu development.
This year’s culinary camp will be taught by Brook Hill’s Executive Chef Kurt Anderson. Chef Anderson has studied Cajun, Mediterranean, as well as Classic Southern Cuisine, and also specializes in artisan breads. A native of Louisiana, Chef Anderson moved to Texas with his family and has enjoyed preparing home-crafted meals for the students of Brook Hill for just over a year now.
